Weening Brothers Mfg Inc. fabricates a wide variety of sizing & grading equipment for the produce packing industry. All equipment is available in either mild or stainless steel.

Lift Roll Sizer
The Weening Brothers Lift Roll Sizer works on the principle of expanding gap rollers. The main chain has a series of rollers on fixed spacing, with another series of rollers mounted a little higher between them. At the feed end of the machine, the rollers are close together. As they move along, the top roller is raised at several adjustable points along the machine, creating a larger gap between it and the rollers below. This design allow for great versatility in determining where each size of product falls. The sizing can be adjusted to suit the volume of each size being graded out. Reversible discharge conveyors also add a degree of versatility and can be used if suitable in you setup.

The lift roll sizer is ideal for use on: Carrots, Potatoes, Parsnips, Beets, Onions, Pickles, Apples, and much more.

Chain Sizer
Weening Brothers Chain Sizers are available in several sizes to suit your individual requirements. This type of sizer is available in 18, 24, 36, 48 and 60" widths with any number of chains depending on your sizing needs. Weening Brothers Chain Sizers are ideal for use with potatoes, onions, beets and many other products as well. This sizer is designed for great flexibility, as the chains are not one inside the other, each chain feeds onto the next leaving enough room to feed into 4' wide boxes from each discharge conveyor. Discharge conveyors are often reversible to allow discharge of product out either side of the sizer. Conventional chain within a chain sizers are also available for applications where space is limited.

We are also a dealer for Agri-web as well with there rubber style sizing screens. This style of screen provides quieter operation and 2 - 3 times the life span of conventional sizing chains. The agri-webs can usually be used as a drop in replacement to any sizing chain with little or no modifications to the machine itself.

Carrot Length Sizer / Piece Eliminator
This sizer is designed to separate the product by length as well as remove short or broken pieces usually prior to packing cellos. Whether the produce is being bagged automatically or manually the finished pack is much neater after being length sized These sizers are available in several width & lengths depending on the volume and number of sizes to be separated out. The sizes can be easily adjusted in seconds by loosening, resetting and tightening the handles on each side of the machine. The piece eliminator is basically the same machine as the length sizer except it only has one adjustable gap strictly for removing small pieces. Discharge conveyors are also available and are custom built for each customer's requirements.

Kerian Speed Sizer
Weening Brothers Mfg Inc. is also an authorized dealer for Kerian Speed Sizers. These sizers are a very quick and versatile alternative for sizing a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Sizing is done as the gaps between the rollers expand along the machine. Typically the discharge conveyors have adjustable dividers to allow for size adjustments. Each machine is setup with a custom spool pattern for each customer's specific application.

Grading/Roller Table
Grading tables are ideal for manually sorting culls from fruit or vegetables. Grading is much more efficient when done on a roller table as the produce rotates while moving along allowing the graders to see all sides of the product. Weening Brothers grading tables are available in a wide variety of sizes. Often times a centre lane or side mounted chute is built into the table allowing the graders to conveniently discard the culls, which are then taken away by conveyor. Roller tables are available with aluminum, stainless, or plastic rollers, which have oil impregnated long life wood or UHMW plastic bushings pressed into the ends. Grading tables are available in mild or stainless steel construction.

Diameter Roll Sizer
This type of sizer is another option used for sizing products by diameter. Weening brothers diameter sizers are available in many sizes to suit your opteration.
